MASSAGE FORMULA

Massage Formula is different from other massage facilities. The emphasis is on pain relief, injury therapy, mobility and stress relief. Both Kirsten and Osbaldo have years of experience at 18 and 12 years along with numerous certifications in multiple techniques. The success of our therapists includes working with clients suffering from neck, back, shoulder, hip and knee pain along with needing relief after having injuries related to repetitive use, sports and prior injuries never addressed such as childhood falls, pregnancy and auto accidents. With such a multitude of healing in one place, finding a therapist that can help you decrease your scar tissue, improve your function and eliminate your pain is easy to do at Massage Formula.

Your therapist will meet you in the waiting room at the time of your appointment.

What should I expect on my first visit?

You do not need to bring anything special. We suggest filling out your paperwork and booking your appointment online to save time in the office and to start your massage on time. Your massage therapist will greet you in the lobby at your appointment time. They will chat with you for a few minutes in a private setting to create a custom massage that best fits your needs and goals. The therapist will leave you for a few minutes, so you can undress to your comfort level and get on the massage table. Most people dress down to their underwear and get under the sheets. If you are more comfortable you can keep your clothes on during the massage. You will never be exposed, as you will be under a sheet and blanket the entirety of the massage. When the massage is over the therapist will leave the room and allow you to get dressed.

Do you accept insurance?

We don’t accept insurance due to what insurance companies consider medically necessary. There are very strict regulations regarding insurance in the length, type and documentation for a massage. For this reason, we value your body and health and want you to be in control of how long you feel you need a massage not an insurance company. We keep our prices very affordable so health can stay as your number one priority.

Do you accept HSA?

It often depends on the type of program your employer has chosen for his or her employees, but we have not yet come across an HSA that wasn’t accepted.

How can I buy a gift card?

The easiest way is to print a gift certificate directly from our website (click here). It allows you to either print it or email it directly to the recipient.
Another option is to pick up a gift card at our office location. If you choose this option, we will need to schedule a specific time to do this since we are by appointment only.

Do you offer couples massages?

We offer couples massages in separate rooms. Each client will have their own massage therapist that will tailor their massage to your specific needs.

Do you offer focused massages?

At Massage Formula, we do offer 20 minute and 45 minute medical massages, which is a fully clothed massage on the massage table. The preferable clothes to wear are work-out clothes. These sessions are condition based such as having a diagnosis from your doctor with adhesive capsulitis, IT Band Syndrome, tennis elbow etc. On this note, we encourage all new clients to come for a 60 minute session for their first session so the massage therapist can get to know your body, limitations, weaknesses and strengths. 20 minute and 45 minute appointments are reserved for clients whom have already been seen by our therapists and need an additional focused area to be worked out.

Office Sanitation and Safety

Our massage clinic adheres strictly to sanitation procedures. All tables, linens, pillows and blankets are sanitized after each use.
